Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper for Days Inn Taber. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and a passion for providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
Maintain cleanliness in public areas, hallways, and back-of-house spaces.
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety standards.
Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring linens are clean and well-maintained.
Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or similar hospitality roles is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and janitorial practices.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness.
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and colleagues.
Experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is a plus.
