Job Summary
We are seeking a personable and professional individual to join our team as a <PERSON>. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service, assisting clients with their needs, and maintaining a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and retail, with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in hair styling, retail sales, and client relations within a dynamic salon or spa setting.

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
Assist clients with hair styling consultations and recommend suitable services or products
Perform basic hair styling services as needed, ensuring high standards of sanitation and safety
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and common areas in accordance with health regulations
Upsell retail products by educating clients on benefits and usage to enhance their experience
Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in/out clients, and handling payments
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations
Support team members in creating a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat business

Skills

Strong customer service orientation with the ability to connect with diverse clients
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
Knowledge of hair styling techniques and current trends (nice-to-have)
Experience in retail sales or upselling strategies to promote products and services
Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in a busy environment
Front desk experience is advantageous for managing appointments and client inquiries
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and teamwork-oriented mindset
