Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Dining Room Server to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to guests in a welcoming environment, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Experience in hospitality or healthcare settings is a plus, especially those with multilingual capabilities or background in patient care.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Ensure guest comfort by responding promptly to their needs and inquiries
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout shifts
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Handle special requests or dietary restrictions with professionalism
Uphold safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
Use point-of-sale systems to process transactions accurately
Assist with setup and cleanup before and after service hours

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or healthcare environments preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Word processing tools is advantageous
Multilingual skills or bilingual proficiency (e.g., French) are highly desirable
Knowledge of medical terminology, case management, or nursing is a plus for roles involving patient care settings
Strong communication skills, time management, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
Experience with patient care or acute care environments can be beneficial for understanding diverse guest needs
Mechanical knowledge or analysis skills are not required but may be advantageous depending on specific job responsibilities
