Full job description

We are growing and looking for a reliable, skilled and competent Oilfield Class 1 Driver with Gravel and Equipment experience to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have:

· Gravel experience with belly dump, end dump and tri-quad gravel units.

· Equipment hauling, experience straight trailer and jeep/lowbed combo.

· Reliable and able to go out of town to work for long periods of time.

· Have a strong commitment to safety/

· Have excellent driving skills and able to operate in tight locations.

· Most important, be a team player.

Duties

Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Load and unload contaminated dirt, gravel, drilling rig cuttings and misc. Ensuring proper handling of materials.
Load and unload equipment on job sites. Ensure proper tie down and loading.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
Assist with equipment repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
Communicate effectively with dispatcher and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a clean driving record.

Requirements

Valid Canadian Commercial Class One driver's license
Must have 3 year’s experience minimum.
Proven experience in oilfield hauling & tickets (H2S, First Aid & CSO).
Must be able to pass drug/alcohol test upon hiring.
Knowledge of equipment repair is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility in working hours, including potential overtime as needed.
Work away from home for extended periods of time.
Must be dependable and have a reliable vehicle to get to work
