ERTH Power is pleased to announce an immediate opening for a Collections/Payment Clerk, located at our Ingersoll Operations Centre.

The hourly rate for his role is based on the current collective agreement: $30.51 start progressing to $38.14

Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Customer Service, the Collections/Payments Clerk plays a crucial role for efficiently maintaining the customer service activities of the collections and payments operations, including but not limited to:

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Responding to customer and account inquiries
Administer the collection, disconnect, deposit and privacy policies
Payment processing and daily reconciliation
Maintaining detail communication logs
Office administration including mail processing, documentation, credit checks, complete locate request forms

Required Qualifications

Minimum Secondary School Diploma
Utility experience preferred
As this is a public facing role, strong and effective professional communication skills are required
Sound judgement and reasoning skills
Basic to intermediate computer skills with a proven familiarity with Work, Excel, Outlook
Strong attention to detail and proven accuracy in work
