Full job description

Position Summary

Seeking a reliable, hardworking Groundskeeper to help maintain the beauty, cleanliness, and safety of our property. The Groundskeeper plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment for guests by ensuring all outdoor areas, facilities, and grounds are well-maintained and presented to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Mow lawns, trim grass, and maintain landscaped areas.
Prune shrubs, trees, and flower beds as required.
Plant, water, and care for seasonal flowers and greenery.
Remove weeds and debris from walkways and common areas.
Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling throughout the property.
Clean and maintain outdoor furniture, picnic areas, fire pits, and recreational spaces.
Ensure roads, pathways, docks, and parking areas remain clean and safe.
Perform routine inspections of grounds and report maintenance issues.
Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
Report equipment repairs and safety concerns promptly.
Provide friendly and courteous assistance to guests when needed.
Respond professionally to guest questions and concerns.
Contribute to a positive guest experience through attention to detail and property appearance.

Qualifications

Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, property maintenance, or outdoor labour experience is an asset.
Ability to operate landscaping and maintenance equipment safely.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver's license is considered an asset.

Working Conditions

Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
Weekend and holiday work is required.
Standing, walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive physical tasks throughout the day.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
