Full job description

Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Shift Manager, Table Games, this position is responsible for the overall management and profitability of table games on a shift basis while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Develops performance objectives and delivers performance evaluations for direct reports, implements all new table games initiatives as directed; actively participates in the recruitment and hiring process. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Key Accountabilities

Provides leadership and direction to the table games operations as well as develops performance objectives and delivers performance evaluations for direct reports
Monitors table games operations on a shift basis
Responds to and resolves issues as escalated
Verifies requests for fills/credits on the gaming floor; verifies and maintains inventories
Verifies jackpots and table games wins
Assesses active table game performance/results and reports to the Shift Manager
Trains team members
Participates in all table games marketing initiatives
Inspects the games area for repair, maintenance and facilities reporting
Verifies team members timesheets
Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and team members)
Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
May perform supervisory duties

Education and Qualifications

High School Diploma
Post Secondary education or suitable combination of education and experience an asset
Experience in gaming management
Leadership experience
Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
Computer literacy in MS Office

Work Environment Considerations

Regular casino environment, standing or walking for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, some exposure to verbal abuse, non-traditional work hours for our 24/7/365 operations
