HR Administrator (People & Culture)

Location: North York, ON (On-Site)
Employment Type: Part-Time (approximately 24 hours per week)
Department: People & Culture

About the Role

Targeted Talent is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support our growing People & Culture team.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in Human Resources and People & Culture. You will play a key role in ensuring recruitment, onboarding, employee reviews, training initiatives, and HR programs run smoothly and efficiently.

Working closely with the People & Culture team, recruiters, and business leaders, you will help maintain accurate employee records, coordinate key HR processes, and contribute to a positive employee experience across the organization.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of HR functions while developing the skills and experience needed for future growth within the People & Culture team.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Interview Coordination

Schedule candidate interviews and coordinate calendars across hiring teams.
Book meeting rooms, video conference links, and interview resources.
Communicate interview details to candidates and internal stakeholders.
Send reminders and ensure interview processes run smoothly.

Employee Reviews & HR Program Support

Coordinate performance review meetings and related documentation.
Assist with employee engagement initiatives, leadership development programs, and training sessions.
Support logistics for workshops, meetings, and internal events.

HR Administration & Data Management

Maintain employee records and ensure information is accurate and up to date.
Process employee data changes within HR systems.
Support onboarding and offboarding administration.
Assist with periodic audits of employee files and documentation.

Reporting & Documentation

Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and HR-related documents.
Maintain organized digital records and archives.
Track policy acknowledgements and required employee documentation.
Support compliance and audit-related activities.

General Administrative Support

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the People & Culture team.
Help coordinate projects and initiatives across multiple departments.
Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiencies.

What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications

1+ years of administrative, HR, recruiting, or office coordination experience.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Professional, confidential, and service-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience supporting recruitment or HR processes.
Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, or employee management systems.
Working toward or interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
