Senior Key Account Manager, Just You Canada

Purpose of the role:

Reporting to the Trade Sales Director this role’s primary focus is to deliver the commercial targets of our Trade Sales channel in Canada. The role will be responsible for key performance metrics including, but not limited to, Sales, Revenue, Cost of Sales and Profitability of the channel. The initial focus will be driving the performance of the Just You brand within the Canadian market. Additionally, the role will represent the company at major trade events and industry functions relevant to this channel.

In this role you will be:

Analysing Sales & Profitability and opportunity and ensuring that the distribution strategy is driving optimal return on investment.
Effectively managing marketing budgets ensuring maximum return on investment across the account portfolio.
Developing relationships with key decision makers and influencers
Effectively Manage Account Managers to ensure they are achieving targets with call and marketing plans in place with their accounts.
Implementing product and automation training to ensure awareness of all products.
Preparing and hosting successful customer educational events as required with targeted sales performance post the event to ensure a return on the investment.
Developing a considered targeted call cycle that focuses on high revenue and high potential stores (Key Accounts) and develop detailed call plans with face-to-face contact with targeted stores when needed.
Responsible for growth of Revenue and Pax numbers.
Monitor and report all competitor activity, pricing and marketing.
Implement successful consumer events in addition to travel agent partner’s events.
Support Trade Sales Director to ensure team target achieved.
Attend Weekly/Monthly team calls for update and activity.
Attend monthly update remotely with senior members of the G Touring team.
Attend trade events including awards evenings/overseas conferences.
This role will require interstate travel for meetings and events
Have a strong customer mindset ensuring we deliver a great experience to both our travel agent partners and our customers
Support and strengthen our company culture

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience in a B2B and B2C sales role within the Travel Industry.
Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills.
A good team player with previous team management or leadership experience.
Be creative in solving commercial challenges at an account level, enjoy working collaboratively and be effective at building strong relationships with key account contacts.
Presentation skills. Must be confident preparing and delivering a presentation to small and large groups of agents and customers.
Problem solving/complaint handling/diplomacy.
An understanding of negotiation techniques and uses these to influence agents.
Setting Objectives and Managing Priorities – Understands the importance of monitoring performance.
Must be prepared to work weekends and evenings as part of your weekly role, with time in lieu received for weekend work. Flexibility will be required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Must hold a clean driving licence.

Location: TORONTO, Ontario, Canada

Working Hours: Full-time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week 09:00 am-17:15 pm Monday to Friday with 45 minute lunch break.
