Events and Catering Lead - Sales + Coordination
Location: Mississauga, ON. (Hybrid 4 days in office, 1 day in the field/at events/different restaurant locations)
Compensation: Base Salary of $60K–$65K + Monthly Commission (Total Earnings of $70K–$75K Year 1 | $80K–$90K+ Year 2) + benefits + paid vacation + 25% employee discount
Start Date: Early to Mid June, 2026
About the Opportunity
This role sits within a growing, multi-brand hospitality/restaurant group known for its high-energy brunch concepts and vibrant evening dining experiences, with a strong influence from Mediterranean and Middle Eastern hospitality (Arabic fluency is a strong asset).
The brands are built around bringing people together… whether that’s over brunch, late-night dining, or celebrating life’s biggest moments. Today, they’re already seeing strong demand for public and corporate catering, as well as weddings, engagements, and a variety of events, on-site at their restaurants as well as off-site.
What’s missing right now isn’t demand… it's structure and consistency in how that demand is handled and grown.
This role is primarily focused on owning that revenue stream day-to-day… managing inbound leads, coordinating catering orders, closing business, and building relationships that drive repeat and new opportunities.
At the same time, this is an opportunity to grow with the business. As the events and catering function expands, there is a clear path to step into a leadership role… building out the team, adding support underneath you, and owning this function at a higher level.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
70% – Client Service, Sales & Business Development
- Manage and convert inbound catering and event inquiries… responding quickly, qualifying needs, preparing quotes, and closing business
- Own the day-to-day catering pipeline… including pricing, invoicing, coordination, and ensuring a smooth client experience from inquiry to delivery
- Build relationships with corporate clients, offices, and community partners to generate repeat business and new opportunities
- Support outbound efforts through calls, outreach, and local networking to grow the events and catering pipeline
- Act as the main point of contact for clients… ensuring a responsive, organized, and professional experience at every stage
30% – Event Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate logistics for events and catering orders… including menus, timelines, staffing, and delivery details
- Support execution of larger or high-priority events on-site to ensure everything runs smoothly and meets client expectations
- Work closely with operations and kitchen teams to ensure consistency in quality and delivery
- Contribute to improvements over time… helping refine menus, pricing, packages, and coordination processes as the function evolves
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in hospitality, catering, events, or a similar client-facing environment
- Experience in a target-based sales role, comfortable working toward goals, closing business, and managing a pipeline
- Strong client service mindset… responsive, organized, and able to manage multiple requests at once
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment where not everything is fully structured yet
- Strong communication skills… confident with clients and able to coordinate internally
- Willing to be hands-on, including occasional evenings for larger events
Valid driver’s license
- Arabic is a strong asset, but not required
