About us

True North Club is a Canadian rewards club. Members enter to win trucks, side by sides, ATVs and cash every week, and we film the moments that bring those prizes and the wider brand to life. All of our content is created for our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, where it plays a central role in building trust and growing the community.

The role

No two days are the same. You will support our wider production team as our eyes on the ground in Canada, capturing and editing a wide variety of social-first content. Most filming will take place across Toronto and Ontario, but assignments could take you anywhere in Canada - from shooting paid ads and presenter-led organic content to filming a winner receiving a truck in Newfoundland. Editing is fully remote, with shoots planned to a clear creative brief and delivered quickly for social use.

What you will do

● Film paid social ads, organic social content and presenter-led pieces to a creative brief

● Capture prize winner reveals, handovers, reactions and testimonial content across Canada

● Shoot compelling prize content — including cars, trucks, ATVs and side by sides — both static and in motion

● Capture social-first photography for websites, campaign artwork, thumbnails and organic posts

● Shoot primarily for mobile-first, vertical delivery while also capturing high-quality DSLR or mirrorless video and photography

● Edit short-form content all Meta platforms, TikTok, Reels and YouTube, plus longer cuts when required

● Record clean audio in busy, noisy and unpredictable locations

● Turn shoots around quickly, often within 24 to 48 hours

● Organise, label and back up footage and photography to the required production workflow

● Ready to amend footage as requested from Head of Video

What you need

● A full Canadian driver's licence and confidence driving unfamiliar vehicles

● Genuine willingness to travel throughout Canada, sometimes at short notice and including weekends or overnight stays

● A strong portfolio of self-shot and self-edited social content, including both video and photography

● Solid editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, plus working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop

● Strong camera operation and photography skills, including experience with DSLR or mirrorless systems

● Your own camera, photography and audio kit, or the ability to work confidently with equipment supplied by us

● Ability to work independently, think on your feet and keep contributors relaxed on camera

Nice to have

● Experience shooting paid social campaigns and organic social content

● Experience shooting cars, trucks or powersports

● Winner testimonials, branded documentary content, event coverage or live activations

● Drone work with a valid RPAS certificate

● Motion graphics, color grading and platform-specific social delivery
