Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Audio Engineer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording, editing, mixing, and mastering audio content for various multimedia projects. This role requires a strong technical background combined with a keen ear for sound quality, ensuring all audio productions meet professional standards. The Audio Engineer will collaborate closely with video editors, graphic designers, and production staff to deliver seamless audio-visual experiences across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

Record and edit audio for video productions, podcasts, live events, and other multimedia projects
Mix and master audio tracks to achieve optimal sound quality and clarity
Collaborate with creative teams to integrate audio seamlessly into visual content
Operate and troubleshoot audio equipment including microphones, mixers, and recording devices
Maintain organized archives of audio files and project assets
Ensure all audio content adheres to technical specifications and project deadlines
Stay updated on the latest audio technology and industry best practices to enhance production quality

Requirements

Proven experience in audio engineering or related field
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Illustrator
Experience with Final Cut Pro is a plus
Strong understanding of sound design principles and editing techniques
Ability to operate professional audio equipment and software effectively
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members

This job is for PART-TIME to start and will vary on hours by client requests. Discussion of incentive for client commission pay is completely OPEN.
