Hello Nori is a fast fine-dining Japanese restaurant with a bold mission: to redefine the hand roll bar experience. Since launching in 2021, Hello Nori has quickly become one of Canada’s most exciting and recognized dining concepts, known for its premium ingredients, precise execution, and elevated guest experience.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the team at Hello Nori Brentwood. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires strong leadership, restaurant management skills, and a passion for the food industry. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing staff, and ensuring smooth restaurant functioning in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Supervise daily restaurant operations, including serving, and food handling to ensure quality standards are met.
Manage and train staff on food safety protocols, POS systems, and customer service best practices.
Oversee team management activities such as interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed and maintain accurate financial records.
Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee food presentation.
Address customer concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in food service or restaurant management with supervisory responsibilities.
Familiarity with POS, handling experience is essential.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Prior experience in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus.
Knowledge of restaurant operations
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with interviewing and hiring staff to build strong teams.
Leadership qualities that promote teamwork and motivate staff members.

QualificationsEssential

1–2 years of experience in a similar restaurant environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
Proven ability to train, coach, and develop a team
Ability to handle fast-paced service and multitask effectively
Basic math and cash handling skills
