ABOUT NICHOLS GARDENSCAPING
Nichols Gardenscaping is a rapidly growing landscape company serving residential estates, architect-designed landscapes, strata properties, and select commercial sites throughout Vancouver and the North Shore.
Founded in 1993, Nichols Gardenscaping has built its reputation on quality workmanship, professionalism, horticultural expertise, and exceptional client service. Today, we maintain and enhance a diverse portfolio of properties ranging from luxury residential estates in Shaughnessy, Southlands, Point Grey, Kitsilano, and West Vancouver to strata communities and multi-family developments requiring year-round landscape maintenance and care.
Our vision is to become one of Vancouver’s leading landscape companies by combining exceptional horticultural knowledge with outstanding service and craftsmanship.
We are currently seeking passionate horticultural professionals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work, and are interested in building a long-term career within the landscape industry.
THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE POSITION
While lawn care, hedge trimming, and property maintenance are important parts of the role, this position offers significantly more variety and opportunity than a traditional maintenance position.
Our team works on a wide range of projects, including:
- Estate garden stewardship
- High-end residential landscape maintenance
- Architect-designed planting installations
- Landscape enhancement projects
- Seasonal garden renovations
- Tree and shrub care
- Strata landscape maintenance
- Garden restoration and rejuvenation projects
- Planting plan implementation
- Specialty horticultural work
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with exceptional landscapes, unique plant collections, specimen trees, and professionally designed gardens throughout Vancouver.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position combines horticulture, landscape maintenance, garden stewardship, and planting installation.
Team members will maintain residential estates, strata properties, and architect-designed landscapes while also participating in the installation of planting plans created by leading landscape architects and designers.
The role offers a unique combination of horticultural care, property maintenance, planting design implementation, and landscape enhancement work.
No two days are the same.
One day may involve maintaining a high-end estate garden with mature specimen trees and specialty plant collections.
The next may involve installing a landscape architect’s planting design, completing a seasonal enhancement project, pruning ornamental trees, or maintaining one of our strata properties.
We are looking for individuals who appreciate both the practical and artistic sides of landscaping and horticulture.
