Job Description:
Galaxy Freightline Inc. is seeking experienced and driven Warehouse Supervisors to lead operations at our high-volume Mississauga terminal. This role is critical to ensuring smooth freight movement during both Afternoon and Night shifts, supporting continuous 24/7 operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, hands-on LTL experience, and the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced cross-dock environment while maintaining safety, efficiency, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage warehouse operations and team during Afternoon and Night shifts
Supervise loading, unloading, cross-docking, and freight consolidation activities
Lead, schedule, and support warehouse staff to meet daily operational targets
Ensure proper LTL load planning, staging, and shipment accuracy
Operate and oversee safe use of counterbalance forklifts
Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to align warehouse flow with deliveries
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Monitor team performance, resolve issues quickly, and ensure deadlines are met
Train new staff and enforce company policies and safety standards

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of warehouse experience (LTL environment required)
Minimum 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong knowledge of LTL loading, cross-docking, and freight consolidation
Hands-on experience with counterbalance forklift operations
Forklift certification preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to manage teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Must be reliable and flexible to work Afternoon or Night shifts
