Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, childcare, and classroom management, with the ability to support diverse learners including children with disabilities. We also have infant/toddler rooms that are in rotation with our other ECE's in the facility.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with educational standards and individual student needs.
Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children through engaging activities and positive interactions.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to tailor educational approaches for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavioral observations.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's development, milestones, and any concerns.
Manage classroom materials, supplies, and resources efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations.
Uphold health and safety standards in compliance with licensing regulations and best practices.

Skills

Strong communication skills.
Experience working with children across various age groups within early childhood settings.
Knowledge of special education strategies and experience working with children with disabilities is preferred.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
Proficiency in computer operation, including classroom management software and educational tools.
Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans, documentation, and classroom resources efficiently.
Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide classroom activities and support team collaboration.
Effective time management skills to balance planning, instruction, and administrative duties.
Writing skills for documentation, reports, and parent communications.

Pay: $69,000.00 per year
