Clinic Administrative Assistant

Body ’n Balance Physio & Wellness Clinic – Wasaga Beach, ON

Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience

About Us

Body ’n Balance Physio & Wellness Clinic has been serving the Wasaga Beach community for over 20 years and is known for exceptional patient care, a supportive team culture, and our “one team, one dream” approach.

We’re looking for a Clinic Administrative Assistant who is friendly, organized, adaptable, and passionate about helping people. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic environment where you’ll be balancing front desk reception, scheduling, billing, and hands-on clinic support, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining treatment areas, to help ensure every patient has a positive experience from start to finish.

What You'll Do

Front Desk & Administrative Responsibilities

Schedule and manage patient appointments
Process billing, payments, and insurance submissions
Maintain accurate patient records, filing, and scanning
Answer phones and respond to emails
Support smooth day-to-day clinic operations
Assist with administrative projects and tasks as needed

Clinic Support Responsibilities

Welcome and assist patients in a warm, professional manner
Coordinate with therapists and practitioners to support patient care
Set up and sanitize treatment rooms and equipment
Complete cleaning duties including laundry, sanitizing, and tidying clinic spaces
Monitor and restock clinic supplies
Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
Provide occasional non-clinical assistance to patients when needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous administrative, customer service, reception, or healthcare experience is an asset
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and learning new software
Ability to perform light physical duties including cleaning, laundry, and occasional lifting of clinic supplies
Must be available to work weekday afternoon and evening shifts

Schedule & Hours

Status: Part-time, permanent
Weekly Hours: 20–25 hours per week
Days: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday (No weekends)
Shift Length: Approximately 4 to 5 hours per day
Shift Times: Shifts will be scheduled within our peak afternoon/evening window (between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.). Exact daily start and end times will be finalized with the successful candidate.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting wage: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
Eligible for our Health Care Spending Account (HCSA) after successful completion of a 3-month probation period
