Full job description

Klondike Chevrolet Buick GMC is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team where you will a supportive team to help you succeed.

The core duties of the Shipper/Receiver is inventory control, recording inventory, and overseeing the loading and unloading of both inbound and outbound shipments.

Responsibilities

Verify shipment quantities received, notifying the supervisor of any damage or discrepancies
Ensure parts are quickly received and expedited to appropriate Parts Advisor
Local pick-ups and deliveries
Label parts with proper parts number prior to binning and place in storage
Monitor part number changes and modify location if necessary
Identify and process special order shipments and notify appropriate person or department
Assist with housekeeping of pats department, stockroom maintenance and replenishment of stock parts
Provide backup for Parts Advisor
Other duties as required by management

Qualifications

Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
Clean Driver’s Abstract
Effective communication skills and attention to detail
Must have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Must have the ability to lift/carry 25kg on their own
