Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of construction and restoration processes. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements
Perform restoration work on existing structures to enhance their appearance
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Ensure proper caulking and sealing of surfaces to prevent damage
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs

Skills

Proficient in construction painting techniques for both residential and commercial projects
Strong knowledge of restoration practices and industrial painting methods
Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
Experience with rigging and carpentry is a plus
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently
Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety protocols in a construction environment
