Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Welder / Fitter to join our fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting drawings, fitting components, and performing MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal products.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, welding process specifications, and assembly drawings
Fit parts together according to drawings and specifications
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment (MIG and TIG)
Weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum (asset)
Operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely
Use fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, and ironworkers
Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 1 year MIG welding experience required
TIG welding experience considered an asset
CWB Certification considered an asset
Must be able to complete a weld test
Ability to read fabrication drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
