POSITION SUMMARY

Eastside Industrial Coatings and Composites is looking for an experienced Polisher.

We are seeking a skilled parts Polisher/Finisher to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in polishing metal and plastic components to achieve high-quality finishes. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with various tools and machinery, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.

This position is a full-time, hourly paid position, which enjoys many benefits, such as a Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm schedule, with both day and evening shifts available, an amazing complement of employee benefits and deferred profit-sharing

**TRANSPORTATION: All Applicants must have a way to get to and from our facility, as there is no public transportation available.**

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate polishing machines and tools to finish metal and plastic parts according to specifications.
Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to standards.
Perform routine maintenance on polishing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Utilize measuring instruments such as callipers to verify the dimensions of polished parts.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to polishing processes.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS

Required: 1 year of industrial polishing experience.
Required: Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
Preferred: Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS, WORK CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Able to multitask.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple duties/projects at one time, work independently with minimal supervision, and professionally resolve conflicts.
Maintains open communication and a team-oriented work environment with all departments and all levels of personnel.
Demonstrates flexibility and professionalism throughout the day.
Adhere to all start/end times, including break and lunch schedules.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Ability to wear a ½ mask face respirator while performing specified work tasks
A strong focus on safety, following all safety rules every shift.
Strong communication skills, ability to listen carefully to directions and understand complex manufacturing instructions.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail, proven time management, and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Advanced decision-making skills.
Ability to prioritize and maintain professionalism during high-volume periods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Willingness to work in other areas of the facility as required
