SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Fish Cutter. In this role, you will be responsible for scaling, handling, and packaging fish products while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and workplace safety.

KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

Scale fish efficiently and effectively.
Assist in the packaging of fish products.
Receive and store fish in accordance with established standards.
Sanitize work area and properly handle products to adhere to food safety and health & safety standards.
Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred.
Previous fish scaling experience is an asset.
Knowledgeable of food safety practices.
Basic math skills for measuring and weighing fish.
Can lift up to 50 Ibs.
Able to stand and work for extended periods of time in a refrigerated and wet environment.
Able to receive and follow instructions.
Willing to undergo a Criminal Background Check
