Job Overview
We are looking to add an Overhead Door Technician to our team! This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. This job will begin as soon as possible. We work all across Oxford County and beyond, performing work in agricultural, commercial, and residential settings.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain various types of garage doors and openers including residential, commercial and agricultural.
Diagnose/troubleshoot issues with garage door systems and provide effective solutions.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform repairs and installations.
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
Perform carpentry tasks as needed, including drywall repair and caulking.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs or installations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

Experience driving a truck and trailer is required.
Experience working on a construction jobsite is required.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.
A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites with a clean drivers abstract.
Valid Working from Heights and Scissorlift Training an asset.
Experience in overhead door installation and repair for commercial or residential overhead door systems is considered an asset.
Experience installing and repairing docks considered an asset.
