Specialiste des aubes fixes (ATTS)/ Vanes Specialist (ATTS)Montreal, Quebec, CanadaJob Description

Dans ce rôle stratégique et opérationnel, vous serez un acteur clé du changement et serez responsable de :

Analyser et Identifier les opportunités d’amélioration des procédés d’ajustement des aubes;
Planifier et Diriger les activités d’amélioration identifiés, en collaboration avec les équipes des opérations, de la logistique et de la supervision du département;
Réaliser des études relatives à la capabilité et la fiabilité des bancs d’essais des aubes;
Agir à titre de liaison et d’expert auprès des différentes parties prenantes - ingénierie, approvisionnements, outillage et service après-marché – afin d’intégrer des changements de conception visant à améliorer la fabricabilité et la performance des processus, des aubes et des moteurs;
Étudier, développer et mettre en œuvre de nouveaux outils et procédés afin d’aider l’équipe à gagner en efficacité.

Qu’est-ce qu’il vous faut pour réussir ?

Diplôme universitaire de premier cycle en génie mécanique, en génie aéronautique ou expérience équivalente;
Minimum de 6 années d'expérience pertinente en support technique, en ingénierie ou en gestion de projet;
Excellente maitrise du français, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, afin d’évoluer dans l’environnement de travail quotidien;
Capacité à rédiger des documents complexes et à animer des réunions techniques en anglais;
Bonne connaissance de différents procédés de transformation des matériaux, tel que le moulage, l’usinage, le formage et les traitements thermiques;
Connaissance en mécanique des fluides;
Expérience en modélisation 3D et technologie de numérisation (scan), un atout;
Solides compétences interpersonnelles et capacité démontrée à collaborer efficacement avec des personnes aux profils et styles de communication variés;
Leadership mobilisateur et sens de l’initiative démontrés;
Autonomie, sens de l’organisation et efficacité.

Ce poste s’inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une très bonne connaissance de l’anglais pour lire et comprendre, sur une base quotidienne, de la documentation et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d’organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

English

In this strategic and operational role, you will act as a key contributor and will be responsible for:

Analyzing and identifying opportunities for process improvement;
Planning and leading improvement initiatives in collaboration with Operations, Logistics, and Departmental Supervision teams;
Conducting capability and reliability studies for vane rigs;
Acting as a liaison and subject matter expert for various stakeholders — including Engineering, Procurement, Tooling, and Aftermarket Services — to integrate design changes aimed at improving the producibility and performance of processes, vanes, and engines;
Studying, developing, and implementing new tools and processes to help the team achieve greater efficiency.

What do you need to be successful?

University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent experience;
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in technical support, engineering, or project management;
Excellent command of French—both spoken and written—to effectively navigate the daily work environment;
Ability to draft complex documents and lead technical meetings in English;
Solid knowledge of various material processing methods, such as molding, machining, forming, and heat treatments;
Knowledge of fluid mechanics;
Experience in 3D modeling and scanning technology (an asset);
Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and communication styles;
Demonstrated mobilizing leadership and sense of initiative;
Autonomy, organizational skills, and efficiency.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
