Bookkeeper, Centex Petroleum

In 1986 Centex Petroleum started our first location in Inglewood, Calgary Alberta. Our ability to provide our customers with a unique look, feel, and customer experience as well as a consistent selection of services and products has allowed us to maintain a loyal client base and opportunities for continued growth. We are a family owned entrepreneurial organization based in Calgary, Alberta. We take pride in offering our customers competitively priced products, and friendly service.

In addition to expanding and increasing the number of our corporate locations, we have become a viable branding and fuel supply alternative for independent fuel site owner/dealers who do not wish to continue with any of the major Canadian fuel brands.

This is an ideal position for a versatile and attentive to detail accounting professional who can take on a wide range of bookkeeping duties. In this role, you will work with many team members in our small Calgary office.

Role: Bookkeeper

Posting entries of audited Accounts Payable
Data Entry in Accounting Software Simply/Sage/Quickbooks Enterprise Accounting
Audit and Data Entry of Daily Sales
Bank Reconciliations
Experience & Understanding of Credit/Debit transactions and Chargebacks
Take Customer calls for any Credit/Debit Chargebacks
Flexibility to process A/R & A/P when needed
Support the Controller in generating Income Statements
Open for Multitasking in fast paced environment.

Requirements

Degree in Business and/or Accounting
One year of experience in a similar role
Must be knowledgeable in Quickbooks Enterprise Version & Microsoft Office
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Organizational, And Time Management Skills Are Essential.
Ability to operate efficiently both independently and as part of a team environment.
Attention and detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$57,500.00 per year
