CNC Machinist

Are you a skilled CNC Machinist who takes pride in precision, efficiency, and seeing your work come to life? If you enjoy programming, setting up, and optimizing machining processes and want to work in a shop that values both high-volume production and custom craftsmanship this could be the role for you. This position reports to Machine Shop Manager.

Work on a mix of high-volume and complex custom projects

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs using G-code as well as CAM software programing.
Interpret drawings and CAD models to determine machining requirement
Optimize programs, tooling, and processes for efficiency and quality
Perform machine setups, including tooling, offsets, and fixturing
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new and existing projects

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Red Seal Machinist (Journeyman) certification (or equivalent)preferred
Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience
Proficiency in G-code as well as Cam software programing.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
