Erie Meats is a privately owned & operated Canadian company with headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario and processing facilities in both Mississauga and Listowel, Ontario.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The Electrician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance throughout the plant on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic equipment, electrical equipment and services.
Support the plant stationary engineers in keeping the refrigeration system working as well as the boilers, wells, compressors and wastewater plant.
Support production processes as needed.
Have an understanding of PLC, Servos to support manufacturing processes, such as assembly lines.
Complete electrical installations to meet company and ESA standards.

REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATIONS

309 or 442A Industrial Electrical license
At least three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset
Proof of completion of Apprenticeship

COMPENSATION

Location: Listowel, ON

Employment Type: Full-Time Night Shift

Hours: 10:00 pm-6:30am (Monday – Friday)

Hourly wage: $45.15 *OT rate (1½) paid after 44 hours
