Purchaser- Join our Growing Team!

Location: Chilliwack

We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientated Jr Purchaser to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our organization has the materials, equipment, and services needed to operate efficiently and cost-effectively. The successful candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and capable of building strong relationships with suppliers while supporting the overall success of our operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build & maintain relationships with vendors & suppliers
Forecasting business needs
Delegation of tasks to team members
Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely & accurate fulfillment
Coach & train team members

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Strong negotiation, communication and people skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Aptitude in problem-solving
Detail-orientated with excellent organizational abilities
Strong analytical skills
Manufacturing purchasing experience
Knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
