Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Givex POS. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food service and hospitality while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems like Givex POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, bar, and service stations
Assist in setting up and breaking down service areas before and after shifts
Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
Respond to guest inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service
Uphold all food industry standards and promote a hospitable environment

Skills

Experience with POS systems, especially GivexPOS or similar platforms
Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
Basic math skills for cash handling and billing purposes
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with guests
Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on creating positive guest experiences

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
