Role Overview:

The Project Engineer supports PREP and WGC in delivering products and services on time, on budget, and to a high standard. The role requires strong project management and technical capabilities to assist throughout the full project lifecycle, from proposal to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, testing, and shipping teams to meet complex project requirements.
Prepare quotes and coordinate service project execution for internal and external customers.
Support and resolve quality-related issues.
Participate in design reviews, post-build evaluations, and project strategy sessions.
Assist with parts identification, organization, and management – both internally manufactured and outsourced.
Purchasing of project-related materials.
Perform field services, including site management, commissioning support, and engineering reviews.
Request, review, and maintain quality documentation from internal and external sources.
Ensure compliance with API, ISO, and internal quality system procedures; identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Work Location & Work Arrangement:

This role is based at our Surrey, BC engineering office.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel to sister companies within Canada, project sites and to the Surrey, BC location may be required

Qualifications & Experience:

Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma or Mechanical Engineering degree
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in energy or mining equipment preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment considered an asset.
Familiarity with rotating equipment (gearboxes, shaft / bearing systems, mechanical power transmission components) is preferred.
Proven project management experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to build trust and maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Valid passport and ability to travel as needed.
Clean driver’s abstract.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
