Full job description

Warehouse Technician

Atlantic Operations is a wholly owned subsidiary of St Barbara Limited, an ASX listed gold producer and explorer with mining assets in Canada and Australia.

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Technician. This role is a full time, max-term position, reporting to the Procurement Superintendent and will be based at our Touquoy mine site located approximately 1-hour northeast of Halifax, near Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.

The Opportunity:

Execute daily warehouse and inventory management activities accurately and efficiently.
Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials; match purchase orders to packing lists.
Unload deliveries and safely handle materials and equipment.
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels in system and physically.
Operate warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as required.
Maintain documentation and transaction records for traceability and audit purposes.
Communicate effectively with procurement, maintenance, and operations teams regarding inventory availability
Assist in identifying stock shortages, excess inventory, and reorder requirements.

Our successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

Behaviour consistent with St Barbara’s values.
Ability to interpret purchase orders, packing slips, and inventory documentation.
Current driver’s licence.
Basic computer proficiency (data entry, email, spreadsheets).
Operate warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as required.
1-3+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or materials handling roles
Forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain) is desired
