It takes a special kind of person to live and work in a remote area like this. There is plenty of work, and housing may be available for full time workers. The territory is absolutely beautiful!

The work in the busy tourist season includes long hours and insanely busy days, depending on the department you work in... but the off season is a little more relaxed as the population shrinks down to between 100-150 people that live here full time year round.

The more diverse you are as an employee, the more opportunity there is here for you.  If you are a hard worker that is ready to take on a challenge, this might be the place for you.

The resort was recently purchased by the Heiltsuk Nation, and is going through a transitional period of sorts, especially as the tourism industry is still recovering after covid. Change is hard and it's going to take time for the new owners/management to mold the resort into it's new shape

every thing that is promised to you is broken.....nothing is done about complaints.....you pay for everything....and it is very expensive........you will go in the hole working there.........don't sign anything and get everything in writing.........there is no over time paid and good luck trying to get it.......
