Uncooperative, uncommunicative, and combative management poisoned the entire experience. Each new fiasco was easily avoidable, but wasn't because leadership refused to take any preemptive action. There was a two week period where our entire process for delivering food to the floor changed for no reason, and efficiency plummeted as a result, despite the constant protest of everyone involved. Front of house and back of house management never communicated with each other, and none of the management communicated with the employees. They would decide to arbitrarily change our procedures, then not tell us for hours (sometimes days) about what changes were made, then get angry with us for not doing something we were never told to do. I was yelled at by a manager for following a procedure that had been instated a few days ago, and was told that the procedure was never changed.

Somehow a part time gig ended up being more stressful than working 56 hours a week as a laborer. No training, no communication, no mercy. Managers change policy by the day and expect you to magically know about it without them telling you. Pretty much everyone with any know-how quit within a few months when I started working there. Avoid this place like the plague.

Sawmill offers lots to learn. It also gives a lot of time for you IF you are a good server you will make good money to work hard for the people to come for an amazing experience and give them just that... If you are the weak link you will soon find out that the 5 hours won't work for you. But it works for those who love to work hard or want a job on the side.

The sawmill is considered a family but the managment could use some work. I learned how to deal with stress and high pressure situations. The hardest part was not being bored on slow days and training people that are new. The best part was the fun in plating food and reading orders.

This is the worst company to work for. The managers are complete idiots, they have meetings just to discuss where to have the next meeting, while nothing gets fixed. They talk about core values while the only value they care about is in dollar signs. would 100% recommend never working at this sh*thole.

Slow and not busy restaurant. Management lacks leadership and most employees do not enjoy working for the company. Had difficulty getting shifts I wanted, but learned a lot here.

Great people. Awesome Management. a relaxing place to unwind in their Lounges and Patios during Summer Time.Great Triple A Alberta Premium Beef for their steaks. I love to have their Surf & Turf and Steak Sandwich and their Lunch and Sundays Buffet. Great Place !

I learned a lot in the kitchen and i learned how to work in a busy environment.Learned how to deal with co-workers and addressed to costumer's complain and the value of time management.

The managers pushed the workers harder considering being paid minimum wage. Great training program but the amount of work asked from you doesn't match the hourly wage.

With being a high energy and good attitude the work place is great typical day is serving loyal happy customers management is absolutely amazing. the staff is always willing to help out where needed
