Full job description

We are seeking a motivated and confident Business Development Representative to join our growing team on a fully remote, commission-based structure.

This role is focused on strategic outbound prospecting through both cold and warm outreach to business decision-makers. Your primary responsibility will be scheduling qualified sales appointments for our Founder & CEO with organizations that could benefit from cybersecurity solutions and advisory services.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, natural relationship-building ability, and a high level of personal drive who wants uncapped earning potential in a fast-growing industry.

This is a precision-focused business development role, not a high-volume call center position.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct outbound cold calls and warm follow-up calls to prospective clients
Sourcing and qualify high-quality sales opportunities
Identify and engage decision-makers within target organizations
Build rapport quickly and communicate professionally with executives and business owners
Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings for the Founder & CEO
Maintain accurate notes and follow-up activity within CRM systems
Follow structured outreach campaigns while adapting communication naturally to each prospect
Consistently meet outreach and appointment-setting targets
Represent the Availien brand professionally and confidently in all interactions

What We're Looking For

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong confidence speaking with business owners and executives
Professional phone presence and ability to handle objections
Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented mindset
Comfortable with outbound calling
Ability to build trust and create meaningful conversations quickly
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Previous experience in appointment setting, sales development, telemarketing, recruiting, insurance, or B2B sales is an asset, but not required for the right candidate

You are energetic, personable, resilient, and highly motivated by results. You enjoy speaking with people, opening doors, and creating opportunities. You are comfortable initiating conversations, handling rejection professionally, and staying persistent while maintaining a polished and professional approach.
