SOUS CHEF / ASSISTANT KITCHEN MANAGER - CILANTRO AND CHIVE - RED DEER
$45k–55k + Bonus + Full Benefits + Fast-Track to Leadership

This is NOT another line-cook job in disguise.
This is your launch pad.

We’re looking for the hungry one!
The cook who’s been crushing it on the line, staying late to test new sauces, sketching menu ideas on napkins, and thinking “I’m ready for more.”
The one who’s dying to step up, lead shifts, write specials, and actually own something.

At Cilantro and Chive - Red Deer, we’re building a movement - changing ONE MILLION lives in Central Alberta through ridiculously good food and real community love. And we need a fired-up Sous Chef who wants to be part of writing that story.

This role is your proving ground.
You’ll work side-by-side with our Chef/Kitchen Manager (a total legend who loves growing people) and get real responsibility from day one: running service, costing menus, training new cooks, creating daily features, and helping shape the future of this location.

You’ve got 2+ years in busy full-service kitchens and can handle the rush without breaking a sweat

You’d rather teach the new kid how to sear properly than just fix it yourself
You’re reliable, coachable, and have a fire in your belly to be great
Food Safe, ProServe, First Aid, WHMIS (or willing to get them quick)
