Maintenance Technician / Certified Millwright (439A)

Priority will be given to candidates holding a valid 439A Millwright certification with hands-on experience maintaining industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery to minimize downtime
Perform preventative maintenance per the PM program and report abnormalities or failures
Accurately record work orders, labor hours, and parts usage in the CMMS system
Create work orders and assist in planning maintenance jobs and projects
Order parts as required and monitor inventory levels
Perform technical work including electrical troubleshooting, power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum systems, plumbing, welding, and fabrication
Communicate effectively with Maintenance team members, Production Supervisors, and Management
Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations, Joint Health & Safety Programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Maintain clear and accurate documentation
Participate in performance review processes
Follow and help enforce company safety policies and procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid 439A Millwright certification (Ontario Red Seal equivalent preferred)
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a certified Millwright in manufacturing (rubber processing or heavy industry an asset)
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
Excellent mechanical aptitude and technical skills in millwright-specific disciplines
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated team player who can also work independently
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
