Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator for the Night Shift to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining a variety of advanced machinery to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with CNC equipment, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing and machining backgrounds to contribute to a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines with precision and adherence to specifications.
Set up, program, and troubleshoot Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate production.
Perform quality control checks using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to maintain product standards.
Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and basic troubleshooting.
Assist in assembly processes and packaging finished products efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
Operate forklifts when necessary for material handling within the warehouse or production floor.
Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment.

Requirements

Proven experience operating CNC equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or press brake machines.
Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAD software like SolidWorks, and CNC programming.
Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, blueprint reading, welding, and assembly techniques.
Ability to use precision measurement tools such as calipers and hand tools effectively.
Basic math skills for interpreting measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
Warehouse experience is a plus, especially involving forklift operation.
Strong understanding of quality control procedures within manufacturing environments.
Prior experience in manufacturing or machining industries preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
