Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’un opérateur/ programmeur senior pour joindre notre équipe en croissance. Le candidat idéal est fiable, manuel, soucieux du détail et engagé à produire un travail précis et de qualité dans un environnement de fabrication dynamique. Ce poste offre également une excellente occasion d’évoluer vers un rôle de supervision au sein de notre atelier de fabrication.

Relevant directement du Directeur général, le programmeur/opérateur sénior sera responsable de la programmation, de l’installation et de l’opération des équipements de découpe laser, de poinçonnage et de presse plieuse afin de fabriquer des composantes métalliques selon les spécifications requises.

La personne retenue pourrait être appelée à superviser et coordonner les activités quotidiennes des machinistes, soudeurs et autres employés de l’atelier afin d’assurer le respect des objectifs de production, de qualité et de sécurité.

Principales responsabilités :

Programmer et opérer les équipements de découpe laser selon les dessins techniques et les exigences de production.
Programmer, régler et opérer les poinçonneuses et presses plieuses pour le pliage et le formage de composantes métalliques.
Lire et interpréter avec précision les plans, dessins techniques et bons de travail.
Effectuer les montages de machines, les changements d’outillage et le dépannage de base.
Inspecter les pièces terminées afin de s’assurer qu’elles répondent aux normes de qualité et aux tolérances requises.
Maintenir un environnement de travail propre, organisé et sécuritaire.
Respecter les politiques, procédures et normes de santé et sécurité de l’entreprise.
Superviser et coordonner les activités de tous les employés de l’atelier de fabrication métallique.
Organiser et prioriser les travaux afin de respecter les échéanciers de production.
Collaborer avec les membres de l’équipe, la direction et les autres départements pour assurer un flux de travail efficace.
Former, accompagner et soutenir les nouveaux employés.
Favoriser une culture de travail axée sur le travail d’équipe, la responsabilisation et l’amélioration continue.

Qualifications

Expérience démontrée dans la programmation et l’opération d’équipements de découpe laser et/ou de poinçonneuses et presses plieuses. (Amada et Prima un atout)
Capacité à lire et interpréter des plans, dessins techniques et spécifications.
Souci marqué du détail et engagement envers un travail de grande qualité.
Excellentes aptitudes mécaniques et capacités de résolution de problèmes.
Capacité à travailler de façon autonome ainsi qu’en équipe.
Expérience en supervision ou en gestion d’équipe (un atout).
Bonne connaissance des procédés de fabrication métallique et des meilleures pratiques manufacturières.
Capacité physique à manipuler des matériaux et à travailler debout pendant de longues périodes.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented senior programmer/operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is reliable, hands-on, and committed to producing precise, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. He will also demonstrate leadership abilities to grow into a supervising role.

Position Overview

Reporting to the General Manager, he will be responsible for programming and operating laser cutting equipment, punching and press brake machines to fabricate metal components according to specifications. He will also supervise and coordinate the activities of the other machinists, welders and employees of the metal shop.

Key Responsibilities

Program and operate laser cutting machine to cut materials based on technical drawings
Program, set up and operate punch & press brake equipment for bending and forming metal parts
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders accurately
Perform machine setups, tool changes, and basic troubleshooting
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Supervise and coordinate activities of all metal shop employees
Collaborate with team members and support production deadlines
Train all new metal shop employees

Qualifications

Experience programming and operating laser and/or punch and press brake machines (Amada and Prima an asset)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with metal fabrication processes is an asset
Physical ability to handle materials and stand for extended periods
