Our Winnipeg Distribution Center has an opportunity for the right individual.

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to support our sales team while helping grow our presence in the Winnipeg construction and property management market. This role combines relationship building, client support, and internal coordination to keep projects moving.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with contractors, property managers, and facility operators
Assist with preparing quotes and proposals
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects move smoothly
Follow up on leads and maintain client communication
Provide product guidance for commercial doors, frames, and hardware

Qualifications

Experience in sales, customer service, or project coordination
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Construction or building products experience is considered an asset
Knowledge of commercial doors and hardware is an asset but not required

Position and Responsibilities:

· Work with a team of Sales Professionals , with a focus on sales growth and customer service

· Order entry and follow-up

· Provide service to all existing company accounts

· Provide exceptional customer service balancing walk-in, phone-in, and email customer requests

· Quoting and estimating of commercial doors and frames, hardware, and building specialties

· Managing open orders through all stages to ensure customers and internal departments are working together to meet expectations

· Constant communication back to the customer as quotes and orders progress

· Responding to on-site quote requests if required

· Provide support to the entire sales team and all Penner customers as required

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Strong sales skills with an emphasis on sales results and customer experience

· Driven to exceed targets and budgets

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· An outgoing personality and professional demeanor

· Prior building/construction material sales experience

· Knowledge of commercial doors, frames, hardware, and building specialties

· General knowledge of building codes

· The ability to meet multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks

· Strong computer skills

· Ability to read construction drawings and door hardware specifications

· High level of organization and attention to detail

· Natural aptitude towards safety for yourself and those around you
