About Pentalift Equipment Corporation:

Founded in 1983, Pentalift is one of North America's leading manufacturers of loading dock equipment and industrial material handling equipment. We are proud to be a reliable supplier to dealers, general contractors and manufacturing companies located all over North America.

We Are Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our dedicated team on the day shift (Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm). This role will work out of our 87,000 sq. ft. facility located in Puslinch, ON.

Please note the day shift and our facility is not accessible by bus.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operate a variety of industrial machines and shop equipment as required (Drill presses, sanders, punches, saws, or brake presses, etc.)
May operate material handling equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts
Read shop work orders or blue prints to determine scope of work
Observe machine operations and periodically verify conformance of parts to specifications using tape measures, templates, or verniers
General duties as required
Work in a safe manner in accordance to legislation and Company policies. This includes working in required PPE (Steel toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses)

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-2 years' hands on experience working with industrial equipment. Previous drill, break, shear and/or saw experience considered a strong asset
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing/machine shop environment
Must be able to read blueprints
Must be able to accurately use measuring tools
Previous experience using hand tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Capable of standing for extended periods of time
Possess a positive attitude and work well in a team oriented environment
