Key Responsibilities

As the Project Manager – Team Lead, you will oversee project quotations and lead coordination efforts between internal teams, suppliers, and clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Project Planning & Bid Strategy:
- Identify and qualify potential bid opportunities; assemble comprehensive material requirement lists, including lighting, switchgear, and related components.
- Collaborate with engineering consultants to confirm project scope and secure approvals for bid submission.
Supplier & Client Management:
- Engage with suppliers to clarify specifications, confirm bill of materials, and negotiate optimal pricing.
- Provide leadership in vendor and customer negotiations, ensuring alignment on costs, timelines, and deliverables.
Quotation Development & Team Oversight:
- Lead the preparation and submission of accurate and competitive project quotations.
- Coordinate efforts across internal sales, account management, and operations teams to ensure quote integrity and readiness for order processing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Follow-Up:
- Track and follow up on outstanding bids, determining status and potential next steps.
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify upselling opportunities within current accounts and enhance customer relationships.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, estimating, or sales support, ideally within an industrial or construction-related environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex bids and lead cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for quoting and pricing.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and relevant industry software.
Key Competencies:
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
