Your Impact:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Variable Compensation, the Variable Compensation Analyst will be assisting the Variable Compensation teams in the accurate calculation, preparation, and communication of variable compensation/performance results for worldwide business units. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possess a broad understanding of accounting. The Variable Compensation Analyst will be responsible for performing variable compensation calculations and analysis of variable compensation accounts and may be called upon to work on special projects throughout the year.
What it takes:As a Variable Compensation Analyst, you will:
- Preparation and submission of monthly commission, incentives and bonus calculation files.
- Preparation of month end accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Data analysis, audits, and review of system setups using AI supported tools and programs.
- Compiling regular and ad hoc reports of key operational metrics.
- Establish standardized methodologies, tools, and documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Identify areas where processes need to be automated and/or streamlined and lead those initiatives.
- Respond to inquiries from plan participants and business stakeholders with focus on excellent customer service
- Perform staff activities including administrative tasks as assigned
- Work on special projects such as process improvements, data analysis/compilation, presentations, report building.
- Perform in a challenging and extremely fast-paced environment, while being able to change direction when circumstances change.
What you need to succeed:
- BA or BS Degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, science, statistics, or other quantitative subjects
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced), and technically savvy in other data systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with a variety of people and job functions
- High attention to detail, a commitment to quality and a results-driven and customer focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and as a team player to achieve goals and tight deadlines while managing cross functional responsibilities and not sacrificing quality/integrity.
- Previous sales compensation experience preferred.
- Previous experience with Xactly and Salesforce.com an asset.
- Self-starter who will take the initiative to learn the various processes from start to finish.

As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.
Salary Range: $63,760.00 - $95,640.00; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
