Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a hard-working and detail-oriented carpenter to join our prefab shop. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing innovative high performance building techniques. Candidates with experience in framing, carpentry, and heavy equipment operation will find this position particularly fitting. A strong work ethic and the ability to perform heavy lifting are essential for success in this role. While preference will be given to candidates who have experience, we encourage anyone who is interested and eager to learn to apply.

Duties

Read and interpret shop drawings.
Construct and assemble panels using power tools.
Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting and moving materials.
Assist with prefab panel installs, potentially out of town.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
Maintain a clean work environment.

Skills

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Punctual and hard-working.
Knowledge of construction safety protocols.
Physical strength for heavy lifting.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about construction craftsmanship who are eager to develop their skills further while contributing to high-quality building projects.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
