Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our team as the Front Desk Administrator at our CPA firm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the office. They will also be working closely with all other accounting staff by providing support in various forms. They will also be responsible for day-to-day office duties, ensuring the office is presentable and organized. The candidate should be an organized and friendly face, who is able to greet and engage with clients with ease.

Duties

Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately with excellent phone etiquette
Handle data entry, maintain accurate records, and perform filing tasks
Managing client payment and collections
processing paperwork
Assist with administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, organizing files, and supporting office operations
Utilize QuickBooks and other basic accounting software
Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Performing opening and closing duties
Perform clerical duties such as typing correspondence, managing office supplies, and maintaining organization within the workspace

Requirements

at least 5 years of proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or front desk roles
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry applications
Experience with multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette
Knowledge of QuickBooks or bookkeeping experience is preferred
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading and filing
Customer service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Previous experience in accounting offices is advantageous but not mandatory
At least high school diploma or GED, preferably college diploma in administration

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $17.20-$24.00 per hour
