Full job description

Job Summary

Busy Insurance Office in Devon seeking a full-time highly organized and professional Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and experience with multi-line phone systems. Prior experience in medical or dental offices is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while developing valuable administrative expertise.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner at the front desk
Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
Perform data entry tasks accurately using computer skills and software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and manage calendars efficiently
Assist with administrative tasks including proofreading documents, handling correspondence, and managing mail
Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times

Requirements

Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills for front desk interactions
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong typing skills with proofreading ability for accuracy in documents
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and office equipment
Prior experience in medical/dental office environments is a plus but not required
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications related to office administration are advantageous

Pay: $24,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
