Overview

Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, where your energy and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the smooth operation of our dental practice. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to combine clinical assistance with front desk responsibilities, ensuring exceptional patient care and efficient office management. Duties

Greet patients warmly, check them in efficiently, and manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix dental software.
Assist the dental team during procedures by preparing instruments, taking X-rays, and ensuring patient comfort.
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls accurately and professionally.
Maintain electronic medical records with precision, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and confidential.
Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and managing patient records using Epic or similar systems.
Manage front desk operations including filing, correspondence, and maintaining a clean, organized reception area.
Support the dental team with inventory management of supplies and sterilization procedures to uphold safety standards.

Requirements

Prior experience working in a dental office or medical office environment is highly preferred.
Proficiency with Dentrix dental software, Epic electronic health records system, and familiarity with medical terminology.
Strong office experience with handling multi-line phone systems and front desk operations.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and basic clinical skills is a plus but not mandatory.
Previous experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and administrative tasks enhances your candidacy.
