Full job description

Knelsen is one of the largest construction companies in Northwestern Alberta. Through our commitment to excellence in product and service, we supply project management, gravel, asphalt paving and ready-mix concrete to the needs of our communities throughout Alberta.

With continued growth, our Balzac, AB location is currently looking for:

Concrete Ready Mix Dispatcher

· Responsible for the day-to-day delivery and coordination of ready-mix concrete to the job sites.

· Schedules and dispatches orders daily to maximize production and equipment efficiency; prepare and submit daily reports, adjust and prepare for last minute orders, cancellations, payment collections, invoicing and reconciliation customer account.

· Responsible for building and maintaining customer and client relationships, and work closely with the production team

· Maintain high degree of accuracy and detail in order entry, and coordinate with plant operators to monitor batching and loading times

· Abides by company policies and procedures regarding handling employment equipment

What you will bring along:

· Previous experience with dispatching and/or batching in a Concrete Plant, strong organizational skills, logistics and customer service

· Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral while working under pressure with fluctuating timelines and scheduling needs

· Be able to multitask and perform well in a team setting

· Willing to work flexible hours and overtime

· Have a valid driver's license and drivers abstract according to company policy

· Meet all Safety requirements and policies

· Comfortable with computer software and GPS systems

· Pre-employment drug screening in effect, reference checks required
