Full job description

Mint Property Management is looking for a reliable and motivated Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician to assist with maintenance and repair work across our rental properties in Calgary, Airdrie, and surrounding areas.

This is a flexible position ideal for someone who is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while managing their own schedule.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist with a variety of residential property maintenance tasks, including:

Painting and touch-up work
Installing blinds and window coverings
Drywall and wall repairs
Caulking and minor finishing work
Junk removal and property cleanups
Conducting property inspections
Light landscaping and seasonal maintenance
Basic appliance maintenance and troubleshooting
Minor repairs and general handyman work
Coordinating and scheduling maintenance appointments with tenants
Communicating updates and completed work with management

Assets / Preferred Experience

The following experience would be considered an asset:

Flooring installation
Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge
Experience working in residential rental properties
Ability to identify maintenance issues proactively

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling and communication
Ability to lift and move materials or junk when required
Must be dependable, professional, and respectful when dealing with tenants
