Financial Analyst / Cost Accountant – 18 month term

What You’ll Be Doing as the Financial Analyst

Prepare and review monthly financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
Analyze manufacturing variances, product margins, and profitability.
Maintain standard costing and cost accounting information.
Monitor and investigate inventory cost and quantity adjustments.
Report on cycle count accuracy and perform test counts.
Prepare audit working paper files and support month-end close activities.

About You as the Financial Analyst

Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and public company reporting requirements.
Experience preparing audit working paper files.
Proven ability to identify operational anomalies and recommend process improvements through manufacturing analytics.
Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
