Border Brokers Inc. is a Canadian customs broker and freight forwarder with nearly 40 years in the industry. We simplify customs clearance through tailored solutions, direct communication, and proprietary innovations.

We’re hiring a Customs Release Technician for our Vehicles department—an excellent communicator with strong customer service skills, and attention to detail.

Overview:
Responsible for ensuring compliant vehicle import/export into the U.S. and Canada by working with clients, customs authorities, and internal teams. This role involves regulatory review, document processing, and client support.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess vehicle admissibility and advise clients
Collect, verify, and process customs documentation
Maintain internal databases and manage workflow
Submit customs and government documentation (e-manifests, HTS classifications)
Respond to client inquiries
Support billing through data entry

Required Qualifications:

CCS designation and/or customs brokerage experience preferred
High attention to detail; strong communication and organizational skills
Computer savvy, proficient in Excel and document software
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
